Chicago 2000

Gallery 1: images from the 2000 field season. The goal was to collect trajectory information for more golden tree snake (Chrysopelea ornata) specimens. The work was actually conducted just outside of Chicago in Lockport, IL.

A view from the top. Snakes jumped from the branch and parachuted to the ground below. The camera above was used to calculate their undulation frequency and to track their trajectory's direction.
